CLUB LONG COURSE RECORDS
Long Course Club Records can be attempted and broken by any WWSC financial member at any official* LC meet or club night event.
These records were introduced in October 2018 to recognise some of the great times our swimmers are achieving in long course events outside of championships.
As a starting point for these records, existing club night and club championship records have been added as the initial records. Times from past carnivals have not been included but those from carnivals held after October 1, 2018 will now be recognised.
CLUB SHORT COURSE RECORDS
Short Course records can be attempted and broken by any WWSC financial member at any official* SC meet or SC club night event.
Short Course Club Records were introduced at the commencement of the short course season in 2018. As there were no existing club records for any short course events, all initial records were times from the 2018 season only.
*approved by national/state governing body, meaning it is a time which is uploaded to Swim Central
CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP RECORDS
Club Championship records remain an important and historic part of the club, with several of these records dating as far back as 2003.
Records exist across all age groups and all events, in both male and female – these are listed as Age Records.
An additional set of records is kept for the fastest overall times in all championship events, in both male and female – these are listed as Open Records.
All Club Championships records can only be attempted and broken during Club Championship events.
